Install Theme

Thank you for choosing Elrond. Follow the steps below to install your theme, then head to Routes Setup to finish configuration.

Elrond relies on a routes.yaml file to work correctly. After installing, continue to Routes Setup to upload it — without it, some pages may appear blank.

1. Extract the Theme Package

Upon downloading your purchase, you will receive a main archive named elrond-v1.xx.zip. Please unzip this file first.

Inside, you will find documentation, assets, and the theme file itself:

  • 📂 License & documentation files
  • 📂 Theme assets folder
  • 📦 elrond.zip (This is your installable theme file)

Ghost strictly accepts the inner theme package only. Please ensure you upload elrond.zip and not the main download folder.

2. Upload to Ghost Admin

Log in to your Ghost administrative dashboard (e.g., yourdomain.com/ghost).

  1. Navigate to Settings → Theme.
  2. Click Change Theme → Upload Theme.
  3. Select or drag and drop the elrond.zip file.
  4. Once uploaded, click Activate to make Elrond live.

3. Set Up Routes

To unlock Elrond's optimized page structure and layouts, you need to upload the included routes.yaml file.

4. Ready for Launch 🚀

Once the theme is activated and routes.yaml is uploaded, Elrond is fully configured. You're ready to customize your design and publish your content.
