Accent Color

Set your site's accent color in Ghost and match it to your chosen color palette for a cohesive, on-brand look.

Your accent color is the highlight Ghost applies to buttons, links, and interactive elements. In Makeros it also ties your chosen color palette together — so picking the right value matters.

Setting the Accent Color

  1. In your Ghost Admin, open Settings → Design & branding.
  2. Click Customize to open the design panel.
  3. Select the Brand tab.
  4. In the Accent color field, enter your hex code.
  5. Click Save.

Matching Your Palette

The accent color you set should match the color palette you picked in Theme Color Palette:

  • Default palette — use any accent color you like; it adapts to your brand.
  • Any other palette — enter the exact recommended hex listed in the Theme Color Palette table.

For non-default palettes, setting the recommended accent color isn't strictly mandatory — but it's essential for the theme to look right. Buttons, links, and highlights rely on it.
