Accent Color
Set your site's accent color in Ghost and match it to your chosen color palette for a cohesive, on-brand look.
Your accent color is the highlight Ghost applies to buttons, links, and interactive elements. In Makeros it also ties your chosen color palette together — so picking the right value matters.
Setting the Accent Color
- In your Ghost Admin, open Settings → Design & branding.
- Click Customize to open the design panel.
- Select the Brand tab.
- In the Accent color field, enter your hex code.
- Click Save.
Matching Your Palette
The accent color you set should match the color palette you picked in Theme Color Palette:
- Default palette — use any accent color you like; it adapts to your brand.
- Any other palette — enter the exact recommended hex listed in the Theme Color Palette table.
For non-default palettes, setting the recommended accent color isn't strictly mandatory — but it's essential for the theme to look right. Buttons, links, and highlights rely on it.
